Need Help With Fax Confirmation Pages On Mp 4001
How do you turn off fax confirmation for successful faxes on MP4001? I only want them if the fax fails to go through. It's a waste of paper to get one every time it succeeds, but I need to know immediately if it doesn't.

This is one thing that Ricoh does not make easy for the end user. Rather than explain the fax parameter bit switches to you I'll just tell you the button sequence to acheive your goal. 'User Tools' - 'Facsimile Features' - 'Initial Settings' - 'Parameter Settings' - touch the number '03' box - in that screen there is a list of numbers from 0-7, the number above the 5 is probably a '1'. If so, press the number '5' on the key pad. The number above the '5' should have changed to '0'. You are finished turning off immediate result report. You can exit out of everything until you return to the regular screen. You will now only get a report if a fax fails.
