My Screen Does Not Show When My Television Is On, What Should I Do?

This is a picture tube based rear projection TV, and for the picture to show takes many circuits and hundreds of components to operate correctly.

There is a capacitor in the power supply and solder connections in the high voltage circuit that are the most prevelent failures. Take it to a tech to get an estimate. expect the labor to be $200-$250 plus parts (more if done in your home)
