Do Not Get Sound When Connecting Tv To The Aux Plug?

I am wanting to connect my TV on my patio to my outside speakers. I am trying to go through the auxiliary plug. When I plug in the cord to connect the TV to the Pyle PDA6BU and turn the selection know to auxiliary, no sound comes from the speakers. The speakers are connected because I get sound when I connect to the Pyle unit through Bluetooth. Any suggestions?
