Usb & Sd Card Folder Usage

I am having difficulty navigating from FOLDER to FOLDER following the instructions in the Pyle Manual. Basically when I press the Folder\Track button as per the manual I do not get a flashing FOLDER with the name of the folder at the bottom. I have several folders on my SD Card & USB Drive containing different Genre of music, I organized them this way in order to be selective about my listening mood.Am I missing something in my understanding of the manual instructions ?
