No Sound Output

Okay so I have the pioneer gm-5500t. And i get no sound. I hooked it up in the car as it said to do so, and blue light turns on, doesn't blink or anything just stays on. I have the input jacks on the back (red and white terminals) hooked into a cord I bought that makes it so I can plug my iPhone in. It his worked on my other 2 amps so I'm thinking its not it. The sub is hooked up right and the gain and freq is about half, the bass boost is on 6 and the lpf is in the middle position for now. What could be causing no output to the sub?
