Deh Pioneer 150 Mp, No Sound.

Hello, i just recently bought a pioneer deh 150mp. new, and i installed it into my jeep grand cherokee 2000, it seemed to work fine and all, until i tried to open the sound. I went to "tuner" went to 98.1 opened the volume to maximum, nothing. I then proceeded to try out a disc, still nothing. All the wiring is perfect and i know because i removed the deh 150mp and put in my old pioneer in to test it out, and the radio was working fine on that one. any suggestions on what the problem is? thanks.
