Why does my Philips DVD player say no disc?

Press the "Open Tray" button on the front of the Philips DVD player. Look to make sure the disc is correctly placed on the disc tray. If the disc is off center the DVD player cannot read the content and will produce the "No Disc Error."

How do you open a stuck Philips DVD player?

You can't open the disc tray by pressing the "eject" button when the set is in standby mode. The correct procedure is to press the "power on" button to turn the set on first and wait for 5 seconds before pressing the "eject" button.
