What Is Needle Bar Height And Where Is Hook Point For Timing?

I cannot answer the hook point question as I'm not sure what the person is referring to.

Needle bar height is the vertical placement of the rod that has the needle holder at the bottom; it is known as the needle bar. There is a set screw that you can loosen to adjust the height of the bar, then tighten to set the height. This procedure is different on the various Pfaff models, so you'll need to refer to the service manual for your particular machine.
