Ac Adapter For A Kxtg2235b Cordless Wall Phone

Can I replace the AC adapter with any 6v 500Ma adapter or must I get the PQLV19 from Panasonic

Any should do as long as it has the proper plug for the phones port. Panasonic oem here.
