How To Make Messages On The Motorola W418g Silent

You should check your message tone settings as well, or you should configure the silent mode all muted funtion.

You will find it in SETTINGS - ACCESSIBILITY - HEARING - TURN OFF ALL SOUNDS. Uncheck the little box. Voila, you have your sound back, I just managed to find after none of the other ideas worked.
