If the physical power button on your Magnavox TV doesn't work and you don't have a remote, you can still try to turn on the TV by using the controls located on the TV itself. Here's how:

1. Locate the power cord connected to your Magnavox TV and ensure it is securely plugged into a working power outlet.

2. Find the control panel on the TV. Depending on the model, it is usually located on the front or side of the device.

3. Look for a button labeled "Power" or an icon resembling a power symbol (typically a circle with a vertical line).

4. Press and hold down the "Power" button or the corresponding button with the power icon for a few seconds. Be patient, as it may take a moment for the TV to respond.

5. If the TV does not turn on, try pressing other buttons on the control panel, such as "Menu" or "Input". Some models have alternative ways to power on the TV.

If none of these steps work, it is possible that the power button or the internal components related to turning on the TV may be faulty. In this case, I recommend contacting Magnavox customer support or a professional TV repair service for further assistance. They may be able to provide additional troubleshooting steps or assess the issue more comprehensively.

I hope this is helpful? PLEASE "ACCEPT" and mark it "HELPFUL" to complement my little effort. Hope to bring you more detailed answers.

If the physical power button on your Magnavox TV is not working and you don't have a remote control, it can be a bit challenging to turn on the TV. However, you can try the following alternative methods:
  1. Check for alternative buttons: Some TVs have multiple buttons located on the side or bottom of the screen. Look for buttons labeled "Power," "Menu," or "Input" that might be available on your TV. Pressing the "Power" button on the TV itself should turn it on if it's functional.
  2. Try using a universal remote: If you don't have the original remote control, you can try using a universal remote that is compatible with Magnavox TVs. You'll need to program the universal remote to work with your TV. Look for the instructions that came with the universal remote or visit the manufacturer's website for programming instructions.
  3. Use a smartphone with an IR blaster: Some smartphones have an infrared (IR) blaster that allows them to function as a remote control. Check if your smartphone has this feature, and if it does, download a remote control app that supports your TV model. The app should have a virtual power button that you can use to turn on the TV.
  4. Purchase a replacement remote control: If none of the above options work, you may need to purchase a replacement remote control specifically designed for your Magnavox TV model. You can find these online or at electronics stores. Once you have the remote, you should be able to easily turn on your TV.

If none of these methods work or if you have exhausted all possible options, you might need to contact Magnavox customer support for further assistance. They may be able to provide additional guidance or help you find a solution to turn on your TV without a functioning physical button or remote.
