Power Green Light Blinks

magnavox 37md359b/f7 power green blinks 16 times shows didital television for a second then goes off to red stand by light.took apart did not see any defected capacitors

Hello Michael,

Don't worry about the issue. This model of magnavox has this issue common all over the places. Try the below..

NO START-UP-
1)- No start-up, the TV screen lights up, then switches back into standby mode--
Repair-Replace Power Board Capacitors
2)- TV shuts down and LED blinks-
Repair-Replace Power Board Capacitors
3)-Stuck in stand-by mode, Led light is blue color
Repair--Blue Led light stays on even in stand-by mode, Replace Main Board
4)-TV does not switch on or fails to power on-
Repair--Replace main Board
5)-Stuck in stand-by, power board light is red color only--
Repair-Secondary voltage out on power board 24 volts and 12 volts are 0 volts--24 volts shorted to ground through short on regulator diode
6)-No start-up, TV screen lights up, then goes to standby mode
Repair-capacitors on Power Board
7)- Shuts down and led light blinks
Repair- Capacitors on Power Board
