How Do I Shut Down My Lenovo Ideacentre B 540?

My Lenovo IdeaCentre B 540 will not shut down completely when I click on settings and power. The lights on the lower left side of the screen stay on. and the screen light on the lower right side of the screen stays on. I can only get it to shut down by holding in the power on button on the left side. How do I shut it down?

Based on your description, you are only performing the Standby State for your computer and not complete shutdown. In addition, pressing the power on button is not a good idea of turning off your computer. To turn off your computer properly, just follow these steps:

1. Press Alt steadily and F4 key on your keyboard

2. A dialog box will appear. You have to select the Shutdown option and then click the OK button
