Lg 840g Phone On /lock-unlock Button Malfunction

My LG840g phone on/lock-unlock button has malfunctioned. The battery is fully charged. My phone locked, and pressing the unlock button at the top of the phone did nothing. I removed the battery and reinserted it to see if that would reboot it and now the phone will not even turn on. How is this remedied?

Hi there. Try to hard reset the phone,click on the link to get the steps on how to hard reset.
