I Have An Lgl55c Phone
this phone was given to me and straight talk won't activate it because the carrier was tracphone and that I live in a different area ( something with the zip code where I Live ) how can I get this phone activated? Verizon owns all the cell towers where I live and nothing works infact everyone I know has verizon phones..this phone cost my friend 180.00 dollars and is better than my phone so please if you could help i would appreciate it other wise i have to go buy a new phone..mine is a cheap basic phone need smartphone but they cost alot thank you very much micki

Every cell carrier is alloted a set size of frequencies they can operate within so you can't operate a phone locked to one carriers network on another carriers network.
Phones can be unlocked or unbranded from their carriers but that doesn't mean that all carriers are willing to add the esn number to their library.
