Changing Password

I have never changed my password but for some reason when I try to get my voicemail it is not recognizing it and won't let me retrieve my messages. How do I change the password?

If you don't know your existing voicemail password, you must reset your voicemail password in order to change it.

If you know your existing voicemail password, you can change it in the voicemail system. Follow these steps to change your voicemail password:

Call the voicemail system:
- From your GoPhone, press and hold 1 or the Voicemail key.
- For your AT&T Wireless Home Phone, dial 1 from your connected home phone.
If prompted, enter your voicemail password.
If you have new messages, press the * key to skip to the Main Menu.
In the Main Menu, press 4 for Personal Options.
Press 2 for Administrative Options.
Press 1 to Change Password.
Follow the prompts to enter a 4- to 15-digit password, and then press the # key. You may now end the call.
If you have Visual Voicemail, access your Visual Voicemail screen and, when prompted, enter the new voicemail password you created.
