60py3df Tuner Problem? Firmware Update Required?

Hi, I have a 60PY3DF. it's great. however it has a problem when I use the tuner (digital only available in australia). when I use the tuner the TV appears to work fine for a few minutes and then turns off and then back on again. it keeps doing that - on,off,on,off,etc.when I play a DVD then there is no problem and it plays for hours and hours. not an issue.so could it be the tuner card is damaged/has failed? or could the firmware be corrupt? or something else? if it is the firmware then how can I get an update from?I've checked the LG site and couldn't see it.thanks
