I'm Printing Colored Labels And The Ink Is Flaking Off

I've heard that the heat setting needs to be raised to a higher temperature, is this true? if so to what temperature do i need to raise it to print colored labels on adhesive paper.

You can try to change the paper settings to Thick paper.

This settings uses a higher temperature.

The temperature is set, the technical change required is to slow down the speed in which the paper is fed through the laser.  This allows for the ink to penetrate the layers and set in the paper.

 This can be done by changing the settings of the printer to recognize the paper stock as thicker.  Printers do this in two ways: weight or thickness.  Choosing the heaviest or thickest setting of the paper should work.
