C2700 is a motor error. PrintCopy.Info says it could be caused by bad contact, or it could be a bad color release motor or engine board. Several solutions are suggested on CopyTechNet.com, including checking the pins that match up with the transfer unit, replacing the transfer unit, and updating the firmware.
