How Do I Light Up The Kindle For Night Reading Without A Lamp

Unfortunately, this cannot be done on the standard Kindle models.  The only option is  to use a book light.  Many kindle-cases come with a built in lamp.

However, the new Kindle Fire (currently in pre-order) does have a back-light so you can read at night.
