Temp Light Blinking

The Temp Light is Blinking - When you turn on the unit on with the main power switch. Both fans turn on but will shut down within 3 seconds and the temp light blinks. I took the back off to verify this. What would cause this - the fans work, but shut off within 3 second of powering the unit on.

If this LED is lit solid then there is a high temp reading or the sensor is bad. If the indicator is blinking then one of the fans is either stopped of running too slow. There is a fan on the bottom of the optical engine, and there is no way to see this fan. The best way to determine which fan is giving the error is to monitor the voltages on the 'yellow' wire from each fan. Normally these are low voltage levels.
