Tv Channels Wont Change Except 1 Channel And The Last Channel On Tv & Remote

The remote or tv manual button to change channels wont work. The remote and tv manual buttons will turn tv on off and sound but will only go to 1 channel and the last channel before it quit working. help? I have a 55" Hitachi "55VF820" LCD rear projection tv.
