Unable To Exit Magic Focus /convergence Screen

Automatic magic focus is functioning but no longer does a good enough job. I can access manual mode and make adjustments but am not able to save and exit. Exit button on remote does not work nor does exit button on television. Is a new remote the solution?

to determine if that button on the remote is working, just push it and point the remote at the camera on your cell phone. if it's working then you will see the IR diode glow on the end of the remote.
