- Place the document or photo that you want to scan on the scanner glass or into the automatic document feeder (ADF), depending on the type of scanner you have.
- Press the "Scan" button on the printer's control panel. If your printer does not have a dedicated "Scan" button, you may need to access the scanning function through the printer's software on your computer.
- Select the type of scan you want to perform, such as a black and white or color scan.
- Choose the file format you want to save the scanned document in, such as PDF, JPEG, or TIFF.
- Adjust the scan settings, such as resolution and brightness, if necessary.
- Select the destination where you want to save the scanned document, such as your computer or a USB drive.
- Press the "Start" or "Scan" button to begin the scanning process.
- Once the scan is complete, the scanned document will be saved to the location you selected.
Note: If you encounter any issues during the scanning process, it's recommended to refer to the user manual or contact HP support for further assistance.
