For this you have only do one thing

PC Recovery

Close out all programs, and shut off the computer.

Turn the HP laptop back on, and immediately press "F11." You will see the "Press F11 for Recovery" message on the screen, and keep pressing "F11" until the PC Recovery Tool window opens.

Click "Next," and the HP laptop will shut down and start up again. When it does, the PC Recovery tool window will open once again.

Click "OK" to proceed with the recovery process.

Follow all on-screen prompts until the recovery is finished. The HP laptop will shut itself off a couple of times during this process. When it does its final reboot, you will see a window that tells you the recovery was successful.

follow my instructions in case its a bios password.

Contact HP, tell them the problem. They will "escalated the case," take your info. The next day you will be emailed a file called SMC.bin. It is formatted specifically for the machine, has to match the UUID. Copy file to FAT 32 formatted jump drive, boot it as per the email instructions, reset bios password.
