I Cannot Turn Off My New 5535 Printer? Help

Normal ways to deal with this issue is to remove the mains supply for about 2-3 mins and then re-instate the supply, power on and see if there are any error messages or lights.
This is a link to HP where further troubleshooting info can be found. You also download the HP scan/print doctor program which will analyse faults for you.
