Hi, I Forgot The Admin Password, How Can I Reset The Password?

Try a cold reset using the following procedure:

This procedure resets all product configurations and settings to

factory defaults (customer configurations and settings are lost).

1.Turn the product on.

2.The HP logo displays on the product control panel.When a "1/8" with an underscore displays below the HP logo, touch the logo to open the Pre-boot menu.

3. Use the down arrow button to highlight the +3:Administrator item, and then touch the OK button.

4.Use the down arrow button to highlight the +8:Startup Options item, and then touch the OK button.

5.Use the down arrow button to highlight the 2 Cold Reset item, and then touch the OK button to select it.

6.Touch the Home button to return to the main Pre-boot menu and highlight the

1:Continue item, and then touch the OK button

How do I reset my HP printer admin password?

1) From the printer control panel, touch or swipe down the tab at the top of the screen to open the Dashboard, and then touch ( Setup). 2) Touch Network Setup. 3) Touch Restore Network Settings. A message appears stating that the network defaults will be restored.
