New Hard Drive Installation Issues.
I bought computer without the hard drive that was originally installed now everytime I try to install a new hard drive I keep getting error messages saying that there are files missing and this happens no matter what I do I press f8 and it won't let me repair windows either.

You are unlikely to get an instal for XP from HP. They would only supply Windows 10 due to Microsoft licensing. Try the auction sites for an installer dvd for Windows 7 or later which your PC should support. Check at HP.com for the spec of your PC and it will support Windows 7 upwards with the standard memory of 4gb. It may require a memory upgrade but would at least be up to date as supportable. As far as MS are concerned XP is dead I'm afraid.
