Wireless Network Adapter

I am running Vista Home on this computer and cannot get onto the internet. It says " this computer does not have a wireless network adapter installed and configured" What do I have to do?

Why aren't you using your Lan cable to connect to the internet. You could acquire a usb wireless dongle or a PC wireless card to enable wireless connection. In a pinch you could use the modem for dial up internet.
