I'm Sorry I Should Have Gave More Info...so Nothing Was Wrong With My Laptop I

was simply checking if a screen I was going to purchase was working.ignorantly switching out the screens while the laptop was on and powered up and at the connection from the cable to the screen is where the spark showed fast and ever since then,even with my original screen it only shows black.so did I ruin the motherboard or can I get a restore disk? Please help.

you have nothing to do with the restore disc unless if your laptop screen can come on.

you did a very big mistake by connecting a VGA cable while the laptop was on, Take your laptop to a local profesional technicien. That might help.
