Register Scanner Fails

I cannot get the scanner to register with the central admin server. The scanner has updated system software, and the server is running with the most uptodate system console and server software running on 2012R2.

Installation Procedures

[System Software Update]

  1. Execute the downloaded “System Software Update” file and then unzip the file on the hard disk.
  2. By using "Admin Tool" or Central Admin function, install "fi-6010N System Software Update" which is unzipped by procedure.1.

    Please refer to the "fi-6010N Network Scanner Operator's Guide" or "Scanner Central Admin User's Guide" for the details on how to install Central Admin Server and use its functions.

Note:
Depending on the system revision of scanner models, some versions of Internet Explorer (hereinafter referred to as IE) cannot be used on the computer when installing the update software.

[fi Network Scanner Admin Tool]

  1. Download and double-click the fi Network Scanner Admin Tool executable. This creates a series of folders, one for each supported language, on the hard disk.
  2. Open the folder that matches your language and double-click the file "fi-AdminTool.msi" to install the program. If your language is not supported, install the English version of the program which is located in the folder "en".
