Atf7000fs0 Fills, Washes, Agitates, And Drains, But Will Not Spin.

ATF7000FS0 fills, washes, agitates, and drains, but will not spin. Replaced door lock switch assembly three weeks ago and worked fine until today. Same problem. Also, checked coin trap three weeks ago - no problem, just a few coins. Any suggestions?

From the description you give I suspect the not spinning problem is caused by the clutch and/or basket drive.suggest you plan on replacing both. As long as the basket can be turned then the bearing is most likely okay and theres most likely nothing under the basket jamming the basket. The repair would require removing the transmission. The images below will give an idea of what you will need to do. If you have some basic tools and are confident in your do-it-yourself then you might give it a try. If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician.
