How Do I Lock A Door On A Self Cleanng Oven, So I Can Clean It.

Good Morning Friend,
I see that you are trying to lock the door to your Frigidaire range, model# FEF450BW, so you are able to run the self-clean cycle. There are a couple of things you can try to make sure the door is locked.
First, make sure you take the racks out of your oven. Sometimes the racks can be in the way of the oven door, and will hinder the door from closing all the way.
Second you can try pressing and holding down the “Clear/Off” button for 5-10 seconds. This should automatically lock the door, for you to be able to run the self-clean cycle.
If the oven still does not go into the self-clean cycle, I suggest contacting your local authorized technician for more assistance. They will be able to diagnose why your oven will not go into the self-clean cycle, and better assist getting your appliance to work. Hope this is helpful.
