Dryer Hums When I Press The Start Botton But Doen't Run. What Could It Be?

Hello telesko2002 - Sounds like the tub is unbalanced from either a bearing/pulley suspension problem or the unit has broken something off in between the tub and outer portion of the unit before you get to the walled panels, and you are hearing a rubbing and thumping noise. This is not a typical DIY job since the entire back panel of the unit needs to be pulled off and diagnosed.
