Installing Scanner Driver Ends With Error: --------------------------- Could
Scanner driver install ends with the following error:
--------------------------- EPSON Scan Setup --------------------------- Could not launch required programs during setup. Check the setup disc, then run setup again. --------------------------- OK ---------------------------
Click "OK" (only response allowed) terminates installation.

Obviously, the software CD that you were trying to install may have corrupted driver files or has some scratches which make it unreadable. I suggest that you directly download the compatible driver from Epson website. Here's the link to the download page of the driver.
