Is There A Lamp Sensor For The Emp 6100i
I have an Epson EMP 6100i projector that we have been having a problem with. Lamp light came on. We replaced the lamp due to the lamp light coming on. However, the lamp initially would light up and then go out and the lamp light would come back on. We've reseated it and tried another lamp to no avail. I messed with the lamp cover switch and even taped it down to make sure that wasn't the issue. Eventually the lamp came on and stayed on and started working. not sure why. Being the tech I am I started tapping on the cover to see if I could get it to fail. Sure enough, tapping on it would cause the lamp light to come on and the lamp to go out. I would reset it by removing power and turn it back on. What I was wondering is if there is a sensor that would automatically turn off the lamp due to jarring or being hit?
