Eimgd60lss Stopped After Brief Run Without Lint Filter.

Cleaned lint fileter but forgot to replace before starting dryer. Stopped soon after once I notice lint filter on counter. Removed on visible sock. Dryer no longer runs. I suspect at least one other item must have entered lint path and now is caught in bearings.

Good Morning John21322,

I see that you are having trouble with your Electrolux dryer, model# EIMGD60LSS, not running, after accidentally leaving the lint filter out. I also see that you did find at least one visible sock in the lint trap, and believe another item to have passed through and get caught in the bearings.

This is typically not a common DIY job, and I do recommend contacting an authorized technician. However, I have found a link on the manufacturers sister website, which I have listed below, that provides a parts breakdown, as well as, a comprehensive listing of authorized techs in your area. Hope this proves to be helpful!
