Remote Is Froze, Cannot Get Anything On Tv

we were trying to watch a dvd and put tv on channel 3 It did not work when we went back to watch regular tv, it was froze

Try turning of your dish network reciever. You can do this by pressing down the on/off button for about 10 sec. Wait a few seconds then turn the reciever back on again. This should fix your problem.

If you were watching a DVD, you are on a different input setting from the satellite input. With your TV remote, press either INPUT, SOURCE, TV/VIDEO button (should have a button to change inputs on TV). Continue to press the button until you find your picture. If you still can't find the picture, unplug the receiver from your electrical outlet for 10 seconds. This will cause the receiver to reboot and re-acquire satellite signal. I hope this helps.
