How Do I Reset My Denon Avr-884 To Factory Settings?

switch off the unit using the main unit's POWER switch;
press and hold the PURE DIRECT button and the NIGHT button;
while still holding on the 2 buttons, turn the main unit's POWER switch on;
verify that the display is flashing once every second;
if so, release the 2 buttons;
if not, repeat above steps.
The above would force the unit to revert back to factory defaults deleting memories, presets, user preferences, settings & configurations
