How To Configure Hot Spare Disk On Dell R720

To configure the hot spare on a PowerEdge R720
There 2 ways:-
1. from the raid card bios
2. from within your OS, from a management tool called the Open Manage Server Administrator (OMSA)
Assuming you are using PERC H710 raid card, here's the manual, refer to Page 55:-

Here's the manual for OMSA on how to setup global hot spare on Page 190 and dedicated hot spare on Page 240:-
