Can The Windows 7 Recovery Disc Install Windows 7 On My Optiplex Gx 280 Desktop?
When Microsoft ends support for XP I want to know if I can install Windows 7 from a recovery usb from a Dell XPS 8500 onto my Optiplex GX 280 desktop?

Unfortunately, you cannot. You will first need to see if your computer can support Windows 7. You can click the link below to download the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor. You will also need check the Dell Support Website below for Windows 7 drivers. You will need to purchase Windows 7 dvd to install Windows if everything checks out.
