I Have A Dell Inspiron One 19 All In One Computer (no Tower) Black Screen.

when I turn it on I hear the start up music play but nothing on the screen. there are no Amber lights or beeping. all looks fine but nothin on screen. a mega second of flash does show on screen then just black. if it had a tower I would open it but it being an all in one I am not familiar with how it should look on the inside. the power button stays lit up white and the driver light flashes while loading then stays on when no activity. any help appreciated. thank you.

Hi trishaj2010

Please follow the below mentioned steps that might help you:

1) Connect the tower to a known good power outlet bypassing the UPS/Spike buster if any.

2) Swap monitor power cable with the tower, vice-versa

3) Connect the Ac adapter to a known good power outlet. Check Power LED indicator on AC Adaptor (without plugging into the desktop)

4) Remove all external peripherals, disconnect the Ac Adaptor and hold the power button down for 20 seconds, to discharge “Static Flea Power”, after that connect AC Adaptor and turn your machine on.
