This charging problem could be related to the battery. I have an old compaq laptop that I replaced the battery on, after replacing with the new Battery, I got the 0% not charging falshing icon. So I put the old dead battery back in & it started charging. This may not be your situation but i wanted to pass that along. I don't know what your original issue was that caused you to do the upgrades. If the not charging is the only issue I suspect it is in the replacement battery. I suggest putting the old one in & see if that goes away. If it does, replace the replacement with an OEM battery & return the replacement. Best of luck.

I hope this is helpful to you!
