Dell Inspiron N4050 Power Off When Charger Is Connected

I am using Dell Inspiron N4050. It become off when I connect Charger to laptop. Charger has been checked and is Ok. When batter removed, Laptop working with charger only. Is there some one who help in this situation.

Hi ghmd,

I would suggest you to perform flea power. To perform flea power remove the AC adapter and battery, now hold the power button down for 15-20 seconds and then put the battery and the adapter back in and restart the computer. Check if it works.

If the issue still persists, please update the system BIOS from the link given below. Please make sure that the AC Adaptor is plugged in and battery is more than 10% charge while updating the BIOS.
