Where Do I Plug In The Pink And Green Leads From My Headphone/mike?

Dell Studio XPS 9100. I have tried plugging the pink and green leads of my headphone/mke combo into the rear of the computer and I have tried the front, but I can't get it to work. If I unplug the speaker lead from the rear and plug the headphone into that I can hear sound in the headphone, but I can't get the mike to work and I can't get the computer to recognize the hardware.

Hi,

Would recommend updating the Audio drivers by clicking on the link below:

http://dell.to/uIo3ef

Enter the Service Tag, select the Operating System you are using and then download the latest Audio driver.

Also, run Windows Audio Playback Diagnose and Repair from the below MS FIX-IT:

Please reply if you have any further questions.

Thanks & Regards
