Menu Button Unresponsive

My player has been acting weird lately, not the menu button won't work so everything is stuck on shuffle which is quite annoying. Is there anyway to fix this? It is about 2 years old, and it does seem like no mp3 player can really last longer than that, just hoping to prolong it's life a little bit longer.
