How Many Gigabytes Is A Compaq Presario V3500 Hard Disk?

I want to transfer data ( a LOT of video!) from my Compaq Presario V3500 laptop to a back up computer. I have been told that the hard disk on the back up computer is "500 GB". The technician is asking me how many gigabytes is the hard disk on my Presario? I don't know. Obviously, the concern is that the size of my video and photo albums on the Presario cannot exceed the 500 GB available on the back-up.
