MY LAPTOP AUDIO DRIVER NOT WORKING

The audio may not be working due to many reasons, specially wrong software, wrong configuration etc. As far as wrong software is concerned, try to go tohttp://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softw… and download the latest driver corresponding to Windows 7 and see if they support Win7 for your system.

As far as configuration problem is concerned, you have not mentioned what exact problem you are facing for eg audio playing but no output in speakers, cracking noise etc. Anyways right click on the volume icon in system tray and click playback devices, see if the same device is selected as default device from which you are trying to hear audio. Also is the speaker connected to the green port at the back.
