My 2006 Pt Cruiser Basic Was Having A Problem With The Battery Light Staying On

That problem seemed to resolve itself after I had the battery, alternator and starter checked..ok...next week the temp. guage that normally stays in the middle is suddenly rising to 3/4...I stopped immed opened hood, there was no steaming...I left is for a few minutes started it again and left the A?C off, this time stayed at 1/2.. next time started the battery light came on again and with A/C off temp guage went from 1/2 to 3/4...I had only gone about 5 miles....turned off again this time no battery light, turned heat all the way up and brought the guarge down form 3/4 to below 1/2 in 3 minutes, please help, what is happening??
