2006 Pt Cruiser Car Stopped And Family Got Out And Car Caught Fire.

I changed a faulty Starter on a 2006 PT Cruiser drove it for 2 days w/o issue ,. On the third day wife and daughter went to go shopping ( locally) Car stopped ; wife and daughter got out at which time there was smoke coming out of the engine bay area ,a muffled explosion from the engine bay area then fire car was destroyed. ( starter was purchased through autozone as the correct replacement part;)I would appreciate a call in regards to this incident , I can be reached at Rogelio GarciaPlease call after 3:30 pm M-F PST.,.

That problem seemed to resolve itself after I had the battery, alternator and starter checked..ok......
